RaceHero is built to keep your data yours. There is no account, no analytics SDK, no advertising, and no data broker. What happens on your phone stays on your phone.
Precise location is used for lap timing, track detection, and mapping your start/finish line. Location data is processed on-device to time your laps and is stored only in your on-device session history. It is never transmitted to us.
Lap times, GPS trails, and telemetry are stored locally on your device so you can review past sessions. You can delete them at any time from within the app.
Spoken coaching uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine. No audio is recorded or sent anywhere by this feature.
If you use the AI Debrief, an anonymized summary of your session (lap times, sector deltas, corner statistics — no location trail, no personal identifiers) is sent to the AI provider to generate your coaching report. This only happens when you explicitly request a debrief.
SIM mode communicates over your local Wi-Fi network between the app and the RaceHero Link PC companion. Telemetry never leaves your local network except as described under AI Debrief, and only at your request.
RaceHero is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
